Allison McKenzie

Allison is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, providing therapy services for adolescents and adults at Freedom First Psychological Services.

Allison completed her Bachelor of Arts degree in Dance from Dean College in Franklin, MA. She then completed her Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling from The College of St. Rose.

Allison has a wide variety of clinical experience including providing community-based mental health care for adolescents involved in the juvenile justice system, working with families involved in custodial/reunification matters, and with survivors of crime, abuse, and trauma. This range in experience has allowed Allison to develop her advocacy skills alongside her clinical expertise.

Allison specializes in working with adolescents and adults, especially those experiencing trauma/PTSD, interpersonal violence, difficulties with mood/emotional regulation, anxiety disorders, and depression. Allison strives to create a safe and supportive therapeutic environment for clients by utilizing a Person-Centered approach.   

Allison is able to accept the following insurances: CDPHP, Fidelis, and MVP.
