Cognitive (IQ) testing may be necessary when there are overall cognitive concerns or specific areas of concern, such as processing speech or memory. Widespread difficulty with learning, developmental delays, and/or weaknesses in daily adaptive functioning can be related to cognitive concerns. Cognitive testing will provide the necessary information to determine the best plan to support your child's development and growth.
