Jamie Savoie

Dr. Savoie is a Licensed Psychologist and Certified School Psychologist who provides comprehensive evaluation services for children and adolescents at Freedom First Psychological Services.


Dr. Savoie has experience with assessment, consultation, interventions, and other psychological services offered within the context of both school and residential settings. Dr. Savoie has extensive experience working with a variety of K-12 students, including students in general education, special education, and day treatment settings. Dr. Savoie is experienced in providing evaluation services for a variety of educational and mental health concerns, including learning disabilities, intellectual disabilities, ADHD, anxiety, depression, and behavioral disorders. Dr. Savoie has also worked with many children and adolescents placed in the foster care system who have experienced trauma. Additionally, Dr. Savoie has specialized training in therapeutic crisis intervention, trauma informed care, and suicide prevention/intervention.


Dr. Savoie completed her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology at the University at Albany. She continued her graduate education at the University at Albany and went on to pursue a Masters degree in Educational Psychology, a Certificate of Advanced Study in School Psychology, and a Doctoral degree in Psychology. Dr. Savoie completed her pre-doctoral internship at Northeast Parent & Child Society, where she provided a variety of evaluation and clinical services to children and adolescents in a residential setting. Dr. Savoie currently works as a school psychologist at a local high school and previously worked as an adjunct professor at Siena College in the psychology department.


Dr. Savoie has worked with many children and adolescents with educational, behavioral, and psychiatric disorders and enjoys working with culturally diverse populations.
