Joanne Knauer, LCSW-R

Joanne Knauer is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, providing therapy services for adolescents and adults at Freedom First Psychological Services, PLLC.

Joanne has expertise working with a diverse range of clients and a wide variety of physical and emotional challenges, including: deafness, Autism, learning challenges, Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder, anxiety, and depression.

Joanne received her M.S.W. degree in Clinical Social Work at Fordham University, in New York City. She completed a one-year Alcoholism Counselor Training Program at the Post Graduate Center for Mental Health.

Joanne’s philosophy for the therapeutic process is that individuals have a right to self-determination and are always the guiding force for their treatment. The journey toward improved mental health can be difficult but together you can move forward toward forging a new path.
