Nnenna Lindsay

Dr. Lindsay is a Licensed Psychologist, providing therapy services for adolescents and adults at Freedom First Psychological Services, PLLC.


Dr. Lindsay received a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from the University of the West Indies in 2003, and a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from Texas Woman’s University in 2010. She completed an APA-accredited Pre-Doctoral Internship at the University of Florida Counseling and Wellness Center and a fellowship at the Iowa State Counseling Service Center, prior to graduating from the University of North Dakota with a doctorate in Counseling Psychology in 2018.


Dr. Lindsay has extensive experience counseling individuals with a variety of mental health concerns, including: depression, anxiety, stress, interpersonal relationships, trauma, domestic violence, adjustment difficulties, and issues related to sexuality, racial identity, and social justice. Her approach to counseling is collaborative, strengths based, and culturally responsive. Dr. Lindsay enjoys providing an empathic and safe space for individuals from diverse backgrounds to feel seen and heard, while learning invaluable tools to cope with their mental health concerns.
