Odalis is a Mental Health Counseling Intern working to receive her masters’ from UAlbany. She obtained her Bachelor's degree in Spanish Studies at Bard College, NY.

Odalis currently works as a direct support staff for adolescents at a crisis stabilization unit in Northern Rivers Family Services. Odalis is also trained and certified in Therapeutic Crisis Interventions (TCI).   

 

Odalis emphasizes the importance of cultural competence and humility to establish collaborative relationships with her clients. She values creating a safe space and meeting a client where they are at. Odalis is interested in utilizing CBT more often in her treatment approach.
