Paige VanAllen, MHC
Paige is a Mental Health Counselor, and a graduate from Russell Sage Colleges’ Counseling and Community Psychology program. She previously attended SUNY New Paltz, where she earned her Bachelor's Degree in Psychology with a minor in Disaster Studies.
Paige has previously interned at Freedom First Psychological Services, as well as the Mid-Hudson American Red Cross, where she was involved in outreach for community psychology and safety. She has worked in a variety of human services fields and with an array of clients, including children and adults within the foster care system, teens in residential mental health settings, and adults with chronic medical and mental health concerns.
Paige centers her practices with clients on the unique needs of each individual, while at the same time understanding those needs within the context of their broader life circumstances. Often, this means examining the physical and social aspects of one's life, in addition to the emotional and mental. Paige has academic and practical experiences with trauma-informed and creative practices, as well as clinical experience with ADHD, anxiety, depression, trauma, and sleeping difficulties.
