Rebecca Stone

Rebecca Stone is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor providing therapy services for adults at Freedom First Psychological Services.

Rebecca holds a Master's degree in Counseling and Community Psychology from The Sage Colleges, and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology with a double minor in Sociology and Neuroscience from The University at Albany.

Rebecca has experience working with college-aged individuals and adults. She utilizes both Solution Focused and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy approaches, as well as often incorporating other approaches to best meet each individual's needs.

Rebecca previously worked at an outpatient office where she focused treatment on the individuals' rehabilitative life goals, overcoming their barriers, and working with co-occurring substance use disorders.
