Stephanie Baldauf is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor providing therapy services for children/adolescents and adults at Freedom First Psychological Services.
Stephanie works collaboratively with individuals, couples and families to facilitate healthy relationships. Her passion is working alongside clients to address underlying issues and achieve personal, professional and relational goals. Her practice style combines energy, sensitivity, compassion, competence, and humor to engage and connect with clients of all ages. Areas of focus include: Anxiety & Depression, Trauma, Eating Disorders, Addiction, Individual Growth, Mood Instability, Stress Management and Co-Occuring Disorders. Stephanie is skilled with multiple treatment approaches and strives to utilize the approach that best suits the needs and goals of each individual client. Such treatment approaches include Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, relapse prevention planning, and mindfulness-based practices.
Stephanie graduated with her Bachelor’s Degree from the State University of New York in Plattsburgh and received her Master’s Degree from Sage Graduate School for Counseling and Community Psychology.
Stephanie has developed an array of clinical expertise through experience in a wide variety of settings in the field of mental health treatment, including an outpatient treatment program that addressed mental health and substance abuse needs, an inpatient substance abuse facility, and as a school-based clinician for both middle and elementary school students. Her experience in the mental health field has provided her a diverse clinical background to offer expertise to clients as they seek to make progress towards meeting their goals and live a more fulfilled life.
